The actress who was last seen in ”The Duchess of Malfi” at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse will join up with the ”Jeeves and Wooster” star
Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan will host this year's Olivier Awards at the Royal Opera House on 13 April, with Julie Walters providing voiceovers for the ceremony.
Arterton, who is soon to appear in Made in Dagenham at the Adelphi Theatre, made her stage debut in Love's Labour's Lost at the Globe Theatre in 2007 and opened the new Sam Wanamaker Playhouse this January with her performance in The Duchess of Malfi.
Mangan can currently be found on stage at the Duke of York's Theatre, where he is appearing in the Olivier nominated Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense until 5 April. His other notable stage credits include the Tony Award winning The Norman Conquests at The Old Vic and Birthday at the Royal Court.
Following on from her recent successes with American Psycho, Chimerica and I Can't Sing!, Es Devlin will design the set for the ceremony at the Covent Garden venue; she could also find herself on stage collecting the award for Best Set Design for Chimerica.
