The show opens at the Theatre Royal Plymouth before touring the country
Frantic Assembly has announced that Mark Ebulue will take the title role in the revival of their adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello.
Joining him as Desdemona is Kirsty Oswald and Steven Miller, who is best known for playing Lenny Lyons in Casualty, plays Iago.
Set in Yorkshire during the race riots of 2001, Frantic Assembly bring Othello into the 21st century, offering a new modern take on the play.
Reprising their roles of Emilia and Roderigo from the previous run in 2008 are Leila Crerar and Richard James-Neale, with Ryan Fletcher playing Cassio.
Frantic's artistic director, Scott Graham, will re-direct the show after receiving the TMA Award for Best Direction for the original production in 2008. Graham will also work with Eddie Kay on new choreography for the revival.
The tour opens at the Theatre Royal Plymouth, whom Frantic Assembly have worked with on this production, in October, proceeding to tour the the country, including performances in Southampton, Oxford and Leicester, before finishing at London's Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, where it will complete a run of four weeks starting in January 2015.
