Liza Pulman arrives at the Lyric Theatre with her stunning show and we're so excited that there's another chance to catch it in the West End. Check out five great reasons why Liza thinks you need to see it!

1. Returning to the West End

After my amazing sell-out run at The Other Palace this autumn, we are so excited to be bringing our show back to the glamour and buzz of London's West End, this time to the fabulous Lyric Shaftesbury Avenue. I never thought that Michael Jackson and I would play the same theatre.

2. The boys

I'm not alone up there! I am lucky enough to share the stage with my fantastic band, the somewhat camply-named Stardust Ensemble, and they are a huge part of the show. With their fantastic playing and our own new arrangements of these iconic Streisand classics (done by musical director Joseph Atkins and myself) every musical moment is a thrill for me and I still get goose bumps!

3. It's a funny night!

All of these amazing songs are threaded together with some really funny stories – it's not all "Evergreen" and Kleenex you know! There's a huge amount of laughter and naughtiness too! That's the joy of the show – it's a real roller coaster of emotion, and like the great woman herself, it has you weeping one minute and laughing the next.

4. Fabulous outfits!

There's no point doing your own show in the West End if you can't wear some fabulous clothes! It's a game of two halves, so I get not one, but two gorgeous outfits, and as I chat with the audience after the show (one of my favourite parts of the night) I am always being asked where I got them from. Shh! Don't tell!
