Alan Ayckbourn’s play series runs in-the-round at the specially adapted theatre
Production photos have been released for Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Alan Ayckbourn's The Norman Conquests, composed of Table Manners, Living Together and Round and Round the Garden.
Directed by Blanche McIntyre, the comedies will run across the month of October. They each depict the same day in the same house from three different perspectives, exposing farcical secrets and illicit affairs.
In a Chichester first, the stage has been adapted for an 'in-the-round' production. An additional bank of seating has been moved, allowing the play's action to be seen from all sides.
The cast includes Jonathan Broadbent (My Night with Reg, Donmar Warehouse), Trystan Gravelle (Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, National Theatre), Sarah Hadland (TV's Miranda and What's in a Name? Birmingham Rep), John Hollingworth (The Power of Yes, National Theatre), Hattie Ladbury (The Importance of Being Earnest, Festival Theatre) and Jemima Rooper (One Man Two Guvnors, National Theatre).
The Norman Conquests runs from until 28 October.
