”Junkyard” opens in Bristol this week

Junkyard is a co-production between Headlong, Bristol Old Vic, Rose Theatre Kingston and Theatr Clwyd about a group of teenage misfits who try to build an adventure playground. It is directed by Jeremy Herrin.
The full cast is Scarlett Brookes (Debbie), Calum Callaghan (Rick), Josef Davies (Ginger), Erin Doherty (Fiz), Kevin McMonagle (Malcolm), Enyi Okoronkwo (Talc), Seyi Omooba (Tilly), Lisa Palfrey (Mum), Jack Riddiford (Higgy) and Ciaran Alexander Stewart (Loppy).
The piece has music from Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck and opens at the Bristol Old Vic before a tour to the Rose Theatre in Kingston and Theatr Clwyd.
Thorne took home the award for Best New Play at this year's WhatsOnStage Awards for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Junkyard runs at Bristol Old Vic from 24 February to 18 March before heading to Theatr Clwyd 29 March to 15 April and Rose Theatre Kingston 19 to 30 April.
