Duncan James, Joanne Clifton and more cast in Rocky Horror Show on UK tour

The Rocky Horror Show is to head out on a new UK tour, it has been announced.

The show, which first opened in 1973 at the Royal Court, will begin a new tour in December 2018. It will continue up and down the UK until November 2019.

Casting has also been announced for the tour, which includes Blue singer and Hollyoaks actor Duncan James and West End star Stephen Webb as Frank, Strictly Come Dancing champion Joanne Clifton as Janet and a1's Ben Adams as Brad.

James performs at Oxford, Southampton, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Stoke-On-Trent, Blackpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Nottingham, Edinburgh. Webb performs at Brighton, Manchester, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Wimbledon, Sheffield, Torquay, Woking, Belfast, Bromley, York, Dartford. Clifton and Adams perform until 25 May.

Kristian Lavercombe will also be reprising his role as Riff Raff and further cast includes Miracle Chance (Columbia), Ross Chisari as Eddie/Dr Scott, Callum Evans as Rocky, Laura Harrison as Magenta/Usherette, and Reece Budin, Shelby Farmer, Katie Monks and Jake Small as Phantom.

The production is directed by Christopher Luscombe and features songs including "Sweet Transvestite", "Science Fiction/Double Feature", "Dammit Janet" and "The Time-Warp".

The tour begins at Theatre Royal Brighton from 12 December and then tours to venues including King's Theatre in Glasgow, Churchill Theatre in Bromley, New Wimbledon Theatre, Opera House in Manchester and Liverpool Empire.
