Anna Ziegler’s new play Evening All Afternoon will have its world premiere at the Donmar Warehouse next year.

Anastasia Hille returns to the Donmar to play Jennifer, with Erin Kellyman making her professional stage debut as Delilah. The play explores the fragile connection between a woman about to become a stepmother and the young person she hopes to reach, set against a backdrop of change and memory.

Directed by Diyan Zora, the production opens on 24 February 2026, with previews from 14 February, and runs until 11 April. Public booking begins on 28 November at midday.

The creative team includes designer Basia Bińkowska, lighting designer Natasha Chivers, and composer and sound designer Adam Cork. Casting is by Lotte Hines.

Ziegler’s work has been staged internationally, with Photograph 51 winning the WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Play and productions spanning the West End and beyond. Her recent play The Janeiad was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and received a Steinberg/ATCA citation. Other plays include Actually, The Wanderers, and The Last Match. She is currently developing a television series for Paramount and has a new play opening at New York’s Public Theater this winter.

Zora’s directing credits include Roots at the Almeida and English for the RSC and Kiln Theatre, which was nominated for an Olivier Award.
