Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage will be touring the UK and Ireland from summer 2026.
Producer Karl Sydow commented: “We can’t wait to bring this amazing show back to audiences across the UK and Ireland. Now more than ever, theatre needs the excitement and joy that Dirty Dancing brings – you’ll have the time of your life!”
The production will once again be directed by Federico Bellone and choreographed by Austin Wilks, with casting and further creative team members to be announced.
The show is written by Eleanor Bergstein, who penned the original 1987 screenplay and produced by Sydow in association with Lionsgate, Magic Hour Productions, and Ivan MacTaggart, co-producer for Freedom Riders.
Dirty Dancing features hit songs such as “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey! Baby,” “Do You Love Me?” and “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.”
The previously announced run at the new Capital Theatre in west London was recently delayed to 2026, while a “reimagined” production has its eyes set on Broadway.
The tour will kick off on 27 August 2026 in Milton Keynes. After that, it will visit Liverpool, Blackpool, Sunderland, Manchester, Oxford, Glasgow, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Hull, Stoke-on-Trent, Sheffield, Norwich, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Derry, Belfast, and Wimbledon.
