Digital Theatre has announced it is releasing The Old Vic's acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible later this month.

The production, directed by Yael Farber, starred Richard Armitage and Anna Madeley as John and Elizabeth Proctor and ran at the Old Vic last summer. It was recently broadcast to cinemas by Digital Theatre through Cinema Live.

It will be available to watch through DigitalTheatre.com from 17 March.

Digital Theatre's Robert Delamere and Tom Shaw said: "Working with The Old Vic and the extraordinary creative talent it gathered for The Crucible has been a privilege.

"After a hugely successful run in cinemas worldwide, we are thrilled to announce the online release so that thousands more can see and witness this great play in this seminal production from a world renowned theatre."
