Denise van Outen to embark on solo tour in 2026

Denise Van Outen will tour the UK in March 2026 with her new stage show An Evening with Denise Van Outen: Songs, Stories & All That Jazz.

The production will feature live music and stories drawn from her varied career across television, theatre and radio.

Van Outen became widely known in the 1990s as co-presenter of The Big Breakfast on Channel 4 and has since worked extensively on stage and screen. Her West End credits include Roxie Hart in Chicago, a role she also played on Broadway, as well as parts in Rent Remixed, Legally Blonde and Tell Me on a Sunday.

On television, she has appeared in Where The Heart Is, EastEnders, Neighbours and a number of factual programmes for Channel 4 including Secrets of the Supermarket Own-Brands and Alcohol-Free Booze: Is It Worth It?

She has also presented on radio, including co-hosting the Capital Radio Breakfast Show with Johnny Vaughan and hosting her own show on Magic FM. Other appearances include Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice, The Masked Singer and Celebrity Gogglebox.

The tour will begin at the Haymarket in Basingstoke (1 March), followed by performances at Buxton Opera House (2 March), Wyvern Theatre in Swindon (3 March), Swansea Grand’s Swan Theatre (4 March), Exmouth Pavilion (5 March), Memorial Theatre in Frome (6 March), and Babbacombe Theatre (7 March).

The tour continues to Hall for Cornwall (8 March), Eric Morecambe Centre in Harpenden (10 March), Apex Theatre in Bury St Edmunds (11 March), Theatre Royal in Wakefield (12 March), Whitley Bay Playhouse (13 March), Forum Theatre in Billingham (14 March), and Princess Theatre in Clacton (16 March).

It then travels to the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone (17 March), Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage (18 March), Ipswich Regent Theatre (19 March), Cromer Pier (20 March), Radlett Centre (21 March), and concludes at the Kings Theatre in Portsmouth (22 March).
