We spoke with the author, comedian and TV personality about the stage adaptation of his children’s novel
Following a successful UK tour, the stage adaptation of David Walliams' children's novel, Gangsta Granny, will transfer to the West End. We sat down with the Little Britain star to find out more.
The show, which was recently nominated for a UK Theatre Award for Best Show for Children and Young People, tells of Ben, who is staying with his granny on Friday night and is expecting the same boring cabbage soup. What he doesn't realise is that his granny has a secret.
Gangsta Granny runs at the Garrick Theatre from 1 August until 3 September, with previews from 26 July.
