Full casting has been announced for Michael Mayer's production of Funny Girl, which opens at the Menier Chocolate Factory in December.

Joining the previously announced Sheridan Smith will be singer Darius Campbell (Nick), Valda Aviks (Mrs O'Malley), Natasha J Barnes (Emma/Mrs Meeker), Marilyn Cutts (Mrs Brice), Maurice Lane (Mr Keeney), Bruce Montague (Ziegfeld), Joel Montague (Eddie), and Gay Soper (Mrs Strakosh).

The cast will be completed by Emma Caffrey, Matthew Croke, Joelle Dyson, Rebecca Fennelly, Luke Fetherston, Leah Harris, Kelly Homewood, Sammy Kelly and Stuart Ramsay.

The Menier revival of Funny Girl broke the theatre's box office records in August by becoming the fastest-selling show in their history.

Written by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill, the musical is based on the life and career of Broadway star Fanny Brice, and her relationship with Nick Arnstein.
It features songs including "People", "Don't Rain on My Parade" and "I'm the Greatest Star".

Funny Girl runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 2 December 2015 to 5 March 2016.
