Christian Slater, Kris Marshall and Don Warrington in rehearsals for Glengarry Glen Ross

David Mamet’s famous play is coming to the West End next month

Photos have been released showing Christian Slater, Kris Marshall, Don Warrington and the cast of Glengarry Glen Ross in rehearsals.

Directed by Sam Yates, David Mamet's 1983 play sees a group of real estate salesmen vying for their positions and jostling to beat one another at bringing in big deals.

Slater stars as Ricky Roma, a role portrayed by Al Pacino in the show's 1992 film adaptation. Joining him are Marshall, Warrington, Robert Glenister, Stanley Townsend, Daniel Ryan and Oliver Ryan.

The drama received its world premiere at the National Theatre in 1983 and its Broadway premiere the following year. It was revived on Broadway in 2005 and in the West End in 2007 starring Jonathan Pryce. Mamet also adapted the 1992 film starring Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino and Alec Baldwin.

Glengarry Glen Ross runs at Playhouse Theatre, London from 9 November 2017 to 3 February 2018, with previews from 26 October.
