Barney Norris’ play will get its world premiere in a new space at the theatre
Casting has been announced for While We're Here which will get its world premiere when it opens a new studio space at the Bush Theatre.
Barney Norris' new play is about two former lovers who meet up in a town which is full of memories. Norris' previous work includes Visitors at the Bush and Eventide at the Arcola.
Alice Hamilton, who is the co-artistic director of Up in Arms, will direct Tessa Peake-Jones, best known for her role as Raquel in Only Fools and Horses, and Andrew French (The Iphigenia Quartet, Gate).
The first production at the redeveloped theatre will be Jamie Lloyd's production of Guards at the Taj, which runs from 7 April.
While We're Here runs at the Bush Theatre from 28 April to 27 May, with previews from 26 April.
