Casting announced for French Without Tears at the Orange Tree

Full casting has been announced for Paul Miller's production of French Without Tears which opens at the Orange Tree Theatre in October.

The cast will include Laila Alj (Waiting for Summer), William Belchambers (Love's Labour's Won), Alexander Bhat (War and Peace), Joe Eyre (As You Like It), Genevieve Gaunt (Life in Black), Tom Hanson (The Gathered Leaves), Patrick McNamee (The History Boys UK tour), David Whitworth (Twelfth Night) and Sarah Winter (Sauce for the Goose).

The 1936 comedy by Terence Rattigan follows a group of young men arriving at a French school for the summer to study for the Diplomatic exam, only to have their concentration disrupted by beautiful visitor Diana Lake.

The production will feature lighting design by Mark Doubleday and design by Simon Daw.

French Without Tears opens at the Orange Tree Theatre on 8 October.
