Anya Reiss adapts Ibsen’s classic

The full cast has been announced for the Almeida Theatre’s forthcoming production of A Doll’s House.
Henrik Ibsen’s play will be presented in a new version by Anya Reiss, with direction by Joe Hill-Gibbins.
Set to star will be Romola Garai, joined by James Corrigan, Olivier Huband, Tom Mothersdale and Thalissa Teixeira.
Garai returns to the Almeida following her Olivier Award-winning performance in The Years, taking on the role of Nora. The play follows Nora and Torvald, whose marriage is tested when a scandal threatens their lives, forcing them to confront the foundations of their relationship.
The creative team includes set designer Hyemi Shin, costume designer Alex Lowde, lighting designer Lee Curran, sound designer Gareth Fry, movement director Jenny Ogilvie, casting director Amy Ball and assistant director Phillippe Cato.
The production runs from 31 March to 16 May 2026.
