Caroline Catz, Saskia Reeves and the cast of Curtains: first look

Ahead of the show's opening, photos have been released showing Caroline Catz (Doc Martin, DCI Banks), Saskia Reeves (Collateral, Wolf Hall) onstage in Stephen Bill's Curtains.

Directed by Lindsay Posner (The Lie, The Truth), Bill's piece follows a tense family birthday party which sees a long-absent daughter return, igniting old feuds. When the show first debuted in 1988 it won the Drama Magazine’s award for Best Play, with Bill also winning Most Promising Playwright from both Evening Standard Theatre Awards and Players London Critics’ Awards. His other credits include The Old Order and Piggy Back Riders.

Joining Catz and Reeves in the show are Leo Bill, Jonathan Coy, Tim Dutton, Wendy Nottingham, Sandra Voe and Marjorie Yates.

Curtains runs at Rose Theatre, Kingston until 17 March.
