The Willy Russell classic has mapped out plans through to next summer

The autumn tour for the ongoing production of Blood Brothers has released new photos, while the show has also plotted plans for 2026.
Blood Brothers tells the story of twins separated at birth, who grow up on the opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with tragic consequences. The musical features such standards as “A Bright New Day”, ”Marilyn Monroe” and “Tell Me It’s Not True”.
The show is directed by Bob Tomson and the late Bill Kenwright, while the creative team includes resident director Tim Churchill, musical supervisor Matt Malone, sound designer Dan Samson, set and costume designer Andy Walmsley and lighting designer Nick Richings.
Vivienne Carlyle reprises the role of Mrs Johnstone, having played the character in the show’s West End production. Sean Jones and Joe Sleight play Mickey and Eddie, while Gemma Brodrick plays Linda.
The company also features Paula Tappenden (as Mrs Lyons), Kristofer Harding (as Narrator), Tim Churchill (as Mr Lyons), Francesca Benton-Stace (as Donna Marie/Miss Jones), Alex Harland (as Policeman/Teacher), Graeme Kinniburgh (as Postman/Bus Conductor), Latesha Karisa (as Brenda), Michael Gillett (as Sammy), Danny Knott (as Perkins) and Dominic Gore (as Neighbour).

The tour kicks is currently at Theatre Royal in Nottingham (9 to 13 Sept), then to the Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple (16 to 20 Sept). It continues at the Regent Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent (23 to 27 Sept), and then to Theatr Clwyd in Mold (30 Sep to 4 Oct).
The show moves on to the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole (7 to 11 Oct), the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham (14 to 18 Oct), and the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon (21 to 25 Oct). A longer engagement follows at the Grand Opera House in Belfast (28 Oct to 8 Nov), before concluding at Cast in Doncaster (11 to 15 Nov) and the Lowry in Salford (18 to 22 Nov).
In 2026, the show will visit Crewe Lyceum Theatre (20 to 24 January), Coventry Belgrade Theatre (27 to 31 January), Guildford Yvonne Arnaud Theatre (3 to 7 February), Brighton Theatre Royal (10 to 14 February), and the Derry Millennium Forum(17 to 21 February). It will also visit the Dublin Bord Gais Energy Theatre (24 February to 7 March), Sunderland Empire Theatre (17 to 21 March), Hull New Theatre (31 March to 4 April), Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre (14 to 18 April), High Wycombe Wycombe Swan (21 to 25 April), and Bradford Alhambra Theatre (28 April to 2 May).
