Audiences to be served a meal onstage during Ivo van Hove's Network

Certain tickets for the National Theatre's upcoming production of Network will enable audiences to watch while eating at a fine dining restaurant.

Ivo van Hove's production, which stars Bryan Cranston, will have patrons sat onstage at the Lyttelton Theatre while Network plays out around them. Audience members who have tickets for the dining experience will enter the show through a secret door and be welcomed by a Maitre D. The diners may be filmed live, footage of which will be shown on screens as part of the play.

The production will then take place around them, while they eat a set menu, which includes a vegetarian option, an aperitif and a glass of wine. Tickets costs £75 for bar stool seats and £95 for table seats. Tickets are limited to two per person.

Tickets are being allocated by ballot, which opens 28 September and closes on Tuesday 3 October. Under 18s will not be able to purchase the dining tickets. Click here for more information.

Network runs at the National Theatre from 13 November to 24 March with previews from 4 November.
