Andrew Keates leaves Landor, forms new production company

Landor theatre manager and artistic consultant Andrew Keates has left his position to form his own production company, Arion Productions.

The company, which aims “to present theatrical pieces on their artistic merit alone”, is currently has two shows in the works, Passing By in September at the Finborough Theatre, and a musical version of A Winter’s Tale at the Landor in November. Both are directed by Keates.

Keates’ previous credits include Martin Sherman’s Bent as director and A Spotlight On… West End Cabaret as co-producer. Keates said that he aspires for the production company to one day work in the West End.
