The Royal Theatrical Fund – motto: Acting for Others – will be hosting a stall at the Denham Village Fayre from 9.30 am to 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May. The whole of Denham village will be closed to traffic and all the local residents, businesses and charities are given a unique opportunity to join in, sell and raise awareness.
The RTF stall is sponsored by one of its directors who also happens to be a local resident, Robert Lindsay. Other celebrities who hope to be there include the Fund’s president Sir Donald Sinden and directors Samantha Bond, Giles Watling, John Nettles, Stephanie Cole, Paul Chapman and David Michaels. Their attendance is, of course, subject to availability.
Prizes to be won on the day will include tickets and merchandise from many popular West End shows. There is a tombola and the opportunity to purchase signed pictures, television and film photographs, signed theatre posters and many other items. Star-spotting, new things to be added to your collection, helping good causes and a day out in one of our most attractive villages. What could be better?
