Photos have been released offering a first look at the cast of the UK premiere of Martyna Majok's Pulitzer Prize-winning 2016 play Cost of Living in rehearsals at Hampstead Theatre.
Appearing in the play will be Adrian Lester (Guys and Dolls, Company) as Eddie, Katy Sullivan who makes her UK stage debut as Ani, having originated the role in the award-winning off-Broadway production, Emily Barber (Trouble in Mind) in the role of Jess and Jack Hunter (All You Need is LSD) in the role of John.
The UK production is directed by Hampstead Theatre's outgoing artistic director Edward Hall, and has design by Michael Pavelka, lighting by Matt Haskins, sound by Paul Groothuis, composition by Simon Slater, video by Ian William Galloway and casting by Susan Parriss.
Cost of Living explores disability, race, class and wealth in the present day through the lens of two pairs of relationships between disabled and able persons. It runs from 25 January to 9 March.
