The full cast has today been announced for the West End transfer of The Exorcist, after a run at the Birmingham Rep last year.

The cast includes Jenny Seagrove playing Chris MacNeil, Peter Bowles as Father Lankester Merrin, Adam Garcia as Father Damien Karras, Clare Louise Connolly as Regan, Todd Boyce as Doctor Strong, Mitchell Mullen as Doctor Klein, Elliot Harper as Father Joe and Tristram Wymark as Burke.

The majority of the cast were part of the Birmingham Rep performance, except Harper who replaces Joseph Wilkins as Father Joe.

The show, based on the hugely successful novel and film, will be directed by Sean Mathias and adapted for the stage by John Pielmeier.

It sees a young girl, Regan, possessed by demonic forces and the subsequent attempts to release her from the supernatural.

The Exorcist will play a strictly limited run at the Phoenix Theatre from 20 October 2017 to 10 March 2018.
