The upcoming production of 50 First Dates: The Musical at The Other Palace is inviting couples to submit photos from their early dates to be featured as part of the show.

Ahead of each performance, 50 images will be projected in the auditorium, offering audiences the chance to see their pictures included in the presentation.

The new show is based on the 2004 romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. It follows Henry and Lucy as they fall in love, and he realises she suffers from short-term memory loss.

Written by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, 50 First Dates will be directed and choreographed by multi-Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw.

Leading the show are Georgina Castle as art teacher Lucy Whitmore, who believes every day is Sunday, 13 October, while Josh St Clair will play the womanising Henry.

While the creative team acknowledges that many people may not have captured their very first date, they are encouraging submissions of any early photos taken together.

Couples can upload their images at 50firstdatesmusical.com/submityourphoto/ before the deadline of midnight on Thursday 4 September 2025.
