The Old Vic’s revival of Terence Rattigan’s last play Cause Celebre opened last night (29 March 2011, previews from 17 March), one of a number of productions being staged this year to mark the playwright’s centenary.

Directed by Thea Sharrock (who helmed Rattigan’s After the Dance at the NT last year), it stars Niamh Cusack, Nicholas Jones, Freddie Fox, Jenny Galloway and Anne Marie Duff whose husband, Scottish actor James McAvoy, was out in support last night.
