1st Night Photos: Loose Women join Welch & Allen at Smack Family Robinson opening

Richard Wilson‘s revival of Richard Bean‘s black comedy Smack Family Robinson opened at the Rose Theatre Kingston last night (3 April 2013).

Starring Keith Allen and Denise Welch, Bean’s 2003 comedy centres on the Robinsons, a surburban family who have run a successful, but completely dodgy, family business for years. But the younger generation isn’t like their dad, and the police are getting interested.

With a cast also including Harry Melling, Kate Lamb and Matthew Wilson, it runs until 20 April.

Guests at the first night party included Loose Women Kate Thornton and Lisa Maxwell, as well as Joe McFadden, James Gillan, Kevin Whately, Daniel Evans and Kacey Ainsworth.
