Tours cast: Harvey, Three Men in a Boat and Birdsong

Full casting has been announced for three upcoming UK tours

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of Harvey starring James Dreyfus and Maureen Lipman, which opens at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 6 February.

They are joined in Lindsay Posner's production by David Bamber as William R. Chumley, Desmond Barrit as Judge Omar Gaffney, Felicity Dean as Betty Chumley, Ingrid Oliver as Myrtle Mae Simmons, Amanda Boxer as Miss Ethel Chauvenet, Sally Scott as Nurse Ruth Kelly, Youssef Kerkour as Duane Wilson, Jack Hawkins as Lyman Sanderson and Linal Haft as E J Lofgren.

The show runs at Birmingham Repertory Theatre until 21 February 2015 before touring to Malvern Theatres (24-28 February), Richmond Theatre (3-7 March) and Brighton Theatre Royal (17-21 March).

Michael Rouse will join the previously announced Anna Westlake, David Partridge and Tom Hackney in the UK tour of Three Men in a Boat which opens at Cambridge Arts Theatre on 21 January.

Rouse's theatre credits include The Bodyguard, Carousel, Matilda and Oklahoma!. Craig Gilbert's production features set design by Victoria Spearing, lighting by Alan Valentine, sound by Giles Thomas, movement by Matt Bugg and musical direction by Tim Van Eyken.

The tour also visits Salisbury Playhouse (27-31 January), Hull Truck (3-7 February), Towngate Theatre Basildon (9-10 February), Rose Theatre Kingston (12-14 February), Dundee Rep (17-21 February), Theatre Royal Windsor (23-28 February), Devonshire Park Theatre Eastbourne (3-7 March), Mercury Theatre Colchester (23-25 March) and Venue Cymru Llandudno (26-27 March).

Peter Duncan, Edmund Wiseman and Emily Bowker will lead the cast of Birdsong as it heads out on UK tour again, opening at Croydon's Fairfield Halls on 4 February.

The tour has also been extended by a week, and will now play at Richmond Theatre from 29 June to 4 July.

Peter Duncan, who is returning to Birdsong as Jack Firebrace having played the role on the 2014 tour, was most recently seen competing in celebrity acrobatics show Tumble and is known to TV audiences as a former Blue Peter presenter.

The rest of the cast comprises Emily Altneu, Max Bowden, Selma Brook, James Findlay, Roger Martin, Liam McCormick, James Staddon, Cloudia Swann and Alastair Whatley.
