Jenna Russell, Sheridan Smith and Alice Fearn among initial line-up announced for Stages cruise

The initial line-up has been announced for Floating Festival's Stages cruise, which takes place aboard the Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas in October.

Alongside headline appearances from Alfie Boe, Sheridan Smith and Collabro there will also be performances from shows including Avenue Q and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole.

Elsewhere, Nick Barstow will present a series of events called RE:Arrangement featuring stage favourites Alice Fearn, Noel Sullivan, Andy Coxon and Kelly Mathieson. Steph Parry, Luke Bayer, Alyn Hawkes and Emma Housley will present songs from the musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Away from the performances, the Stages Academy will feature a programme of seminars, workshops and events with the likes of Jenna Russell, Lizzie Gee and Paul Taylor-Mills.

The four-night cruise takes theatre lovers from Southampton to Dublin and back on board Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas from 14 to 18 October.
