Photos have been released offering a first look at Michelle Terry's inaugural season at Shakespeare's Globe, ahead of its official opening night.

The season begins with two rep productions – Hamlet and As You Like It, which will run concurrently on the main stage until August. Terry will take on the role of the Dane in the production, alongside Shubham Saraf as Ophelia. Saraf recently described the experience of performing in the shows as "like nothing I've ever experienced."

The productions feature a 12-strong company of performers, with both directed by Federay Holmes and Elle While. The pieces have choreography by Siân Williams, design by Ellan Parry and fight direction by Yarit Dor.

The season will go on to feature a new production of Othello featuring Mark Rylance and André Holland, as well as Barrie Rutter's version of The Two Noble Kinsmen and Blanche McIntyre's The Winter's Tale.
