Michael Gambon, Paapa Essiedu, Russell Tovey and more in rehearsals for Pinter at the Pinter
Hayley Squires, David Suchet and John Macmillan also star in the short plays by Harold Pinter
Pictures have been released offering a peek into the rehearsal room of the upcoming Pinter at the Pinter, Jamie Lloyd's mammoth staging of all of Pinter's short works.
Pinter One features One for the Road, The New World Order, Mountain Language, The Pres and the Officer, Ashes to Ashes and begins in previews from 6 September. The cast includes Kate O'Flynn, Jonjo O'Neill, Antony Sher and Maggie Steed. Michael Gambon is also the voice of The Guard in Mountain Language while Lia Williams directs Ashes to Ashes.
The cast for Pinter Two includes Hayley Squires, David Suchet, Russell Tovey and John Macmillan. They will star in The Lover and The Collection which open in previews from 13 September.
The season marks the 10th anniversary of the playwright's death and as well as his short plays, poems and sketches will also be performed. The short plays have never been performed together in a season like this.
Cast in the upcoming productions include Danny Dyer, Ron Cook, Lee Evans, Martin Freeman, Abraham Popoola, Penelope Wilton and Celia Imrie.
