WhatsOnStage Award nominee Jodie Steele, who recently appeared in the UK premiere of Heathers at The Other Palace and in the West End, will take on the role of Daisy Buchanan in the concert performance.

Placing the character of Daisy front and centre in the show, the piece has book by Linnie Reedman with music and lyrics by Joe Evans.

Steele will be joined by Emma Williams (An Officer and A Gentleman, White Christmas), who plays Myrtle Wilson in the concert performance. Further casting is to be announced.

Fitzgerald's 1925 novel, which follows the relationship between Buchanan, narrator Nick Carraway and the enigmatic Jay Gatsby in New York, has been the subject of many stage adaptations over the years, including an immersive production currently running in London. In 2013 Leonardo DiCaprio played the role of Gatsby in the film adaptation directed by Baz Luhrmann.

The concerts will take place at Crazy Coqs in central London on Wednesday 28 August and Thursday 29 August at 7pm.
