Jennifer Saunders, Samantha Spiro, Kevin Bishop and Joseph Marcell in Lady Windermere's Fan
The show opens tonight at the Vaudeville Theatre
Production shots have been released showing the cast of Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan onstage ahead of the production's opening night.
Featuring Jennifer Saunders, Samantha Spiro, Grace Molony, Kevin Bishop and Joseph Marcell, the comedy tells the tale of the titular Lady Windermere, caught up in a web of lies and infidelity amongst her aristocratic family and friends. It is directed by award-winning actor and director Kathy Burke, with design by Paul Wills.
The piece forms part of Dominic Dromgoole's year-long season at the Vaudeville Theatre in the West End, which is composed of Wilde's best known theatrical works as well as pieces inspired by his prose writing.
In her review of A Woman of No Importance, which opened the season, critic Sarah Crompton said that the play and the production 'just about have you in the palm of their hand.'
Lady Windermere's Fan runs from 22 January to 7 April.
