Release date confirmed for Cool Rider cast recording
A cast recording for Grease sequel Cool Rider will be released on 29 June.
The album, which was funded through Kickstarter, stars Aaron Sidwell, Ashleigh Gray and Reece Shearsmith.
The rest of the cast includes Niki Evans, Mark Anderson, Bronte Barbe, Daniel Buckley, Joshua Dowen, Lucinda Lawrence, Hannah Levane and Niall Sheehy.
Cool Rider had a one-off concert at the Lyric Theatre in January 2014, before playing a limited run at the Duchess Theatre last April.
The story takes place two years after the original film of Grease at Rydell High School, and features a new cast of characters.
Songs on the album include "Who's That Guy?", "Score Tonight", "Cool Rider", "Girl for all Seasons" and "Rock-a-Hula Luau (Summer Is Coming)".
