The Finborough Theatre has announced its programme for the first part of 2019.

Ché Walker's Time is Love / Tiempo es Amor will have its European premiere at the venue from 1 to 26 January, featuring music by Olivier Award-winner Sheila Atim. A menacing Los Angeles drama, the UK production will include some of the original LA cast. Walker's piece Been So Long was recently released on Netflix.

From 27 November to 22 December 2018, the venue will revive Aimée Stuart's comedy Jeannie, last seen in the UK over 80 years ago. A '30s version of the Cinderella story, the piece is directed by Nicolette Kay.

Richard Kalinoski's Beast on the Moon will run in the UK for the first time in more than 20 years from 29 January to 23 February 2019. Directed by Jelena Budimir, the piece explores the impact of the Armenian genocide.

On 17 December, Gaelic singer and actor Mairi Morrison will present Bana-Ghaisgich/Heroines, a new play performed in Scottish Gaelic with live music and songs. The piece is the final show in the venue's series of pieces commemorating the First World War, and explores the Iolaire disaster (one of the worst maritime disasters in United Kingdom waters during the 20th century).
