The cast has been announced for the Young Vic revival of Academy Award-winner Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

Sope Dirisu, most recently seen in as the lead actor in the RSC production of Coriolanus, will play the role of Ogun in the production. He will be joined by Jonathan Ajayi (A Midsummer Nights Dream in New Orleans) as Oshoosi. Both are making their Young Vic debuts.

Anthony Welsh will return to the role of Elegba, a role he previously played in 2008. The show will be directed by Bijan Sheibani, whose production of Barbershop Chronicles recently returned to the National Theatre. There will be design by Patrick Burnier with live music and sound design by Manuel Pinheiro.

The play follows two brothers, reunited after spells in prison.

The Brothers Size runs at the Young Vic from 26 January to 14 February with previews from 19 January.
