Full casting has been announced for David Bowie and Enda Walsh's musical Lazarus.
The musical, which transfers from New York Theatre Workshop in Manhattan, will be directed by Ivo van Hove and focuses on Bowie's character from the 1976 screen adaptation of The Man Who Fell To Earth Thomas Newton.
The cast also includes Gabrielle Brooks (The Book of Mormon), Sydnie Christmas (Kick Ass 2), Richard Hansell (A View From The Bridge), Maimuna Memon (Into The Woods), Tom Parsons (Once) and Julie Yammanee (Priscilla Queen Of The Desert).
At a launch event for the official cast album in London last night, Michael C Hall revealed that the recording sessions took place on 11 January this year, the day after Bowie's death. Hall will perform the title track from the musical tonight at the Mercury Prize awards.
Lazarus runs at King's Cross Theatre from 8 November to 22 January, with previews from 25 October.
