The first show from new production company Elliott & Harper has been announced.

The company, which combines director Marianne Elliott with producer Chris Harper, will stage the UK premiere of Simon Stephens' Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle at Wyndham's later this year.

Anne-Marie Duff and Kenneth Cranham will star in the piece, which runs from 3 October.

This production reunites the production team behind The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, with Stephens, Elliott and designer Bunny Christie all to work on the show.

Heisenberg received its world premiere Off-Broadway in 2015 before transferring to Broadway. Mary-Louise Parker and Denis Arndt originally starred in the piece, which is set in a London train station and tells the story of two strangers who strike up an unlikely relationship.

The show originally ran in an intimate audience configuration, and had 200 seats on stage.

Over 30,000 seats under £20 will be available to purchase throughout the West End run and are on sale from now.
