Alexa Vega has been playing Penny in the Broadway production of Hairspray for a little while now, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about her performance? I've done some searching for clips, as you do, on youtube and her Hairspray video blogs were the only thing that came up.

I was surprised when they announced Vega in the role, simply because I didn't see her as a Boradway singer, but everyone (nowadays) seems to have hidden talents.

Yeah, so if anyone knows how she's doing, it would be interesting to know.

I saw her when i went out there in febraury. didnt know it was alexa vega  but my friend and i were sitting there like, she is crap. When we found out it was alexa vega after the show we were like, she was good in spy kids but crap in hairspray. she should stick to the films.

Are you serious !?  My goodness, I saw her in Hairspray last month and Alexa Vega completely stole the show!  She was absolutley AMAZING!!  I didn't find out about Alexa being in the show until halfway through, but even by then she had stood out.

Absolutely!!!!!! She did a wonderfull job.....in fact I went back and saw the show again!!!!!!!!!
