Anyone seen this?

I saw it today and it was excellent. The whole cast is superb and the concept of audience involvement is genuinely exciting. I was sat right at the front and the interaction there between cast and audience is very funny. The bingo players cast asides to you throughout the 'play'. I loved the way the Royal Exchange has been transformed into a bingo hall. You walk past rows of fruit machines and into the very authentic hall in the centre of the theatre. Ushers are dressed as bingo staff and each performance you play a 50p stake and one audience member wins £200. Some moments of the play-cum-bingo game are hilarious, while others are touching and a sad under-current runs throughout. There is a feeling that all the players are losers in some way, striving to get some enjoyment and hope from winning. Alas, the punters never do win big and the staff too have their own sad problematic lives entangled in their 'glitzy' bingo hall jobs. A compelling time at the theatre that is exhilirating to watch. We, as the audience, are part of it all and it feels we are living it with the actors. Not a typical play, but a remarkable experience.

Enjoyable - but wasn't the best thing!
This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.

Yes I did, thought it was very entertaining and something different - we always sit at the back on RowG which was a good thing as I shouted 'house' thinking I needed one line not two - very embarassing when the girl came to check it and said ' she's not even remotely got two lines'!! My husband thought it hilarous, I was just hoping people thought I was a plant!
Good to read your reviews, you're much more articulate than I am!

Phew - not me then! We were on floor level, back row G - we usually choose there are there are only 3 seats and hardly ever any one else but us two , also they are quite a bit higher so a good view.
I obviously wasn't the only one to get it wrong either!

Someone got it wrong on my night for exactly the same reason and there was much hilarity that followed - I wonder if there's a plant in every audience...
