He played Clarence Darrow (Drummond) in a film as I recall so maybe him again.

I reckon that's a fair enough assumption; I'd come to the same one myself. I was just wondering if anyone was able to narrow it down further. wink.gif

Only 2 plays announced so far? Have next year's Bridge plays been officially announced? (other than in Telegraph or wherever it was).

Yes, weirdly. And no sad.gif

The website only mentions the two plays, and so does this sad.gif

Fair enough. That's enough to be getting on with, anyway.

As You Like It and The Three Sisters are also mentioned in the Winter's Tale/Cherry Orchard programme, which has reprinted the Telegraph article, so they presumably will be happening.

I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed by the choice of plays. I've seen the film of Inherit the Wind (with Spencer Tracey) and it is perfectly enjoyable and interesting, but does it really merit a theatrical revival? I would love to be proved wrong, but it seems a touch middle-of-the-road somehow.

And Six Degrees of Sepration is a very good play, but do we need a revival so soon, and would it not have been more interesting to go for something of Guare's that hasn't already had a high-profile production over here? Four Baboons Adoring the Sun or Bosoms and Neglect?
