Who else thinks that Zizi Strallen is just as good as her sisters. I do but I think she needs to be given a bigger part for people to see she can actually do it because at the moment people don't think she's as good because she hasn't got the lead roles like her sisters. tongue.gif

I found her amazingly annoying in 'The Music Man', but I'm willing to accept that it was probably the character who was annoying as opposed to the actress. We'll see how it goes. She's got Strallen genes, she can't possibly be anything but ridiculously talented.

The poor child! How old is she now? Give her 5 years to build up a career like her sisters have, THEN compare her to them.

"Incredibly annoying" doesn't seem to have hindered her aunt's career...

For a 17 year old she already has an impressive line of credits behind her but I think she needs to establish herself a little bit more before she gets the lead roles. She definitely has the talent and is not at all annoying in person; she's lovely. I have no doubt she'll be just as successful as her sisters; as will Saskia.

At least, Ms Langford is not 'incredibly rude' or 'incredibly bitter', Belle.

I've only seen her in Music Man at Chichester. Her dancing was suberb. The part she played was very annoying - so difficult to judge her acting. If the character was supposed to be annoying then she played in brilliantly! Yes, very talented IMO but like all actresses (and there are many of them) she will need the breaks to establish herself as a "star" like her aunt!

Saw her in several things at ArtsEd and, yes, she is in the talented genre that defines the Langford/Strallen girls.

Well yes, her sisters too in terms of talent but "star" in my definition is a performer who the general public know and who can fill a theatre - an increasingly rare breed. I would argue that if you took a poll on the street of any town or city in the UK of Bonnie Langford, Scarlett Strallen and Summer Strallen only Bonnie would be genenally known outside theatre circles. Summer, although excellent IMO in the SOM failed to sell out the London Palladium as Connie did despite the hype of the Hollyoaks nonsense. Summer was even better in Drowsy Chaperone, BUT a good performer is not necessarily a "star" anymore than a "star" is necessarily a good performer.
