Does anyone know who has been cast as the alternate Nancy in the New Oliver production?

I have heard a rumour that it will be one of the other I'd do anything Nancys who will perform as Nancy twice a week. Although rumours in the press some months ago were that the understudy/alternate had already been cast.

Jodie is not scheduled to perform on either Wednesday or Thursday nights according to the Oliver Website.

Anyone know anything???

Thanks

Busymum

I do believe Jessie has been offered alternate Nancy for the Drury Lane run, althought I haven't heard it confirmed officially.

I believe Jessie isnt allowed to accept the alternate role because there is a clause in the contract that forbids any runners up being cast as the alternate. obviously this wasnt the case with joseph or maria but it is with Oliver for some reason.

It could well be just for the first few months of the run that they aren't allowed to accept.
Neither Lewis nor Aoife came in til (I think) at least 6 months after Lee and Connie started.
You may well see Jessie playing the role (at least as alternate) from next summer.

I'm hearing from various places that Sarah Lark is the alternate Nancy.

Sarah is going to be first cover, not the alternate, when they are allowed to bring another Nancy hopeful in. That's for definite.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's a first cover? Is that like an understudy? Or is it like what Lewis is to Lee in Joseph- someone who covers holidays and whatnot? =S
