I thought this would be really interesting as we all have aspirations, I know I do when it comes to what roles I would to play! I was wondering what everyone's ambitions were show-wise? I personally would LOVE to debut in Les Mis... as anything! Preferably Fantine wink.gif Such an epic piece of theatre and possibly all performers dreams! I'd also love to play Glinda in Wicked biggrin.gif Fantasies or not, its always fun to think about! I feel a sing in my bedroom coming on wink.gif

Would love to play either Scaramouche in We Will Rock You or Elphaba in Wicked! I know thats aiming high, but they are my 2 favourite characters in my two favourite shows. Love their spirits. After getting to play Meat in We Will Rock You a couple of years ago in my school's production, Scaramouche is defenitely my next aim!!

Interesting people with good stories. Natural wit. The theatre and everything to do with it. From the make up and costumes to the actors and performers themselves.

Eva Peron would be amazing!

Here's another question... who would you want your supporting roles to be played by?

I personally would love to perform with Oliver Tompsett, Ben James Ellis, Michael Ball, Louise Dearman, Laurie Brett, Siobhan Dillon, Ruthie Henshall, Kerry Ellis/..... All the big names please wink.gif hehe xx

right at this moment .......

I would love to play marguerite - imagine getting to kiss Julian Ovenden every night! (sigh!)

Apart from that and in all seriousness I would love Ellen in Miss Saigon, Fantine in Les Mis - obvious choices I know but they are great.

I like this thread :0
ok i get passionate about this....( breathes)! Roles i am determind to play are:

Glinda-wicked, touching story, breath taking costumes (all those sparkles....aahhhhhhh!), phenomenal songs and she enters in a bubble!!! A really inspiring piece, you come out feeling something, singing the songs and feeling you can relate to the characters. I find my self walking round and reciting the lines without even realising!

Christine- Phantom of the opera.-have wanted to play it since i was 9 when my mum took me to see it and the rest they say is history!

I dont ask for much (not)!! Am working hard so hopefully it isnt impossible

Good luck and keep the dreams alive people!

if only I had a decent vocal range, but otherwise;
I'd love to be in the chicago ensemble (would have to have a better body too! lol)
Or I'd love to be Galileo in WWRY (although I don't have the vocal range)
or I would absolutely love to play Thenardier again. Was my favourite part that I've ever played and I'm soo happy they've released it for amateurs cos now I may possibly be able to do it again in the future!
