Wonderful news...she will join the cast in December as Mrs Wilkinson.......

sad its not a new show worthy of her talents, but great to have her back in the west end....

Well she obviously feels it is, if she's chosen to do it. And as it's been open for 3 years, and is now in Australia and opening in New York this year, you might be in the "bitter" minority.

I think damedave was lamenting the fact that she was not going to be in a NEW show.

Personally, I think it's the most overrated show I've ever seen. Truly horrible score wed to a lazy, sentimental book. Well staged, though. And I'm sure Riding will be sensational. She always is.

This has made my week!!

She'll be fab in the part and will re-define another role yet again!!!

By the time she finishes this hopefully SOHO Cinders will be complete because she was sensational as one of the ugly sisters in the Stiles and Drewe concert!!!!

Great to see you back JO!!!!!

Not worthy of whose talents? It's the most successful new British musical in the last decade. (After Mamma Mia!)

Jackie Clune gives her final performance as Mrs Wilkinson on 29th November, so can we expect to see Jo Riding from 1st December. It will be a treat. She will be the first established "musical theatre" star to play the role really. I know that Haydn, Sally and Jackie have all done MT before, but it's not what they are best known for.

Should be a good night as most of the adult cast are leaving this time around, and it'll be interesting to see a fresh take on the show.

I believe she's only in it for 5 weeks or something like that. I know I'm booking on Monday (once they reduce the ticket prices by 2.5% wink.gif )
