brilliant! it arrived today and i keep playing my favourite bits - it is a reminder of the great music and ruthie's star turn!

i am seeing the show again for the fourth time in a couple of weeks - cant wait!

i have three friends who have seen it separetly and hated it - i cant see why - but i suspect it is one of those shows which you either love or hate!

I got the CD yesterday as well. I'm going to see the show at the beginning of October. Still not sure what to make of the score. I liked The Face I See when I first heard the extract on the website. I also like Intoxication but I think I'll need to hear it a few times before deciding if I really like it.

My copy arrived a few days ago and I am just nearing the end of the first act and I am, on the whole, loving it.

Some of the chorus scenes seem clunky (might work better with staging, I guess) but on the whole, the vocal writing is pretty darn impressive. I am loving the sweep and soaring lines - everything seems very heightened and that works for me.

The vocal ranges seem huge (can't wait to see the score) and the cast are more than up to the challenge.

It isn't perfect - but it is one of the strongest scores I have heard in recent years.

Listened to my copy for the first time today (I was away when it arrived!) and thought it was brilliant. Not nearly as moving as witnessing the performances live but ceratinly a very good recording, a couple of the songs are really stuck in my head now!

Having had plenty of time to listen to it I think it's great and can't wait to see the show.
