what an absolute star - ive never been disappointed in anything ive seen her in, and she was the absolute stand out today in music man - she looks stunning, sounds amazing, can sing, dance and act

it surely cant be long before she gets to originate a lead in a new show rather than a revival or a take over - something she can put her stamp on

I was there yesterday- I liked her a lot as Mary Poppins, but was a bigger fan of her acting than of her singing (perhaps I saw her on an off night). However, her singing yesterday was the best I've heard from anyone in a long time. Her rendition of "My White Knight" was jaw-dropping. I love the rich, golden tone to her voice.

I believe she is going to Broadway with Poppins in October. Fabulous.

She really has star quality. I saw her for the first time in The Music Man and was completely overwhelmed by her singing. And she is stunning to look at.

I've been a huge fan of Scarlett since first seeing her in "Mary Poppins". She's just radiant in everything she does, and such a lovely, genuine person in real life.

I'm told her first night as Mary P on Broadway is October 15th! She is going to be a huge hit over there.

It could happen because Ashley brown (current MP) is going on tour with the show but not till march 2009.

Hugely excited to hear that Scarlett will be appearing on Broadway in Mary Poppins. Hope she will be available to reprise her role in The Music Man if it transfers to the West End - would be inconceivable for the show to transfer without her.

I first became a fan when I saw her in Mary Poppins and thought she couldn't get a better role and really wanted to meet her. Then I saw her in the Music Man and she was just as good as Marian as she was as Mary and I actually met her. I love you even more now Scarlett!!!! I hope you read this!!!! tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Am definately thinking about it. Scarlett was my favourite Poppins and would love to see the show with her in it again. Caught a couple of her performances in Chichester this summer....London theatre will miss her!!!
