Please tell me how to remove the ah ah ah and the door slam when I log on to the WOS site. It is truly crippling.

I like xkcd's take on websites with automatic sound. (Note: website is silent.)
In my opinion anyone interested in improving himself should not rule out becoming pure energy.

I first heard that eerie music when reading the thread re the forthcoming new musical 'When Midnight Strikes'!
I thought perhaps the person who started that thread had been clever by adding midnightish sounds to the Forum!

Really, REALLY hate adverts that you can't turn off the sound! It's so offensive. Best way to make me avoid a website.

I thought we had got rid of these horrors long ago. Now I shall have to turn the volume control to Mute before entering the website.

Oh god, not again. I just heard the dreadful dirgy ah-ah-ahhing and thought my neighbour at work had flipped his lid, until I realised it was emanating from my own computer. What is the point? I don't even know what it's from...or wouldn't if someone hadn't mentioned it here.

I'm still not convinced as to what it's from.

But whatever it's from, please STOP it!
