We are currently recruiting for a new position; Cosmetology/Costume Technician. Applicants must have at least 2 years experience, be available for a 4 month contract at minimum and have experience working with wigs.

Position Title: Cosmetology/Costume Tech
Average Contract Length: 4 months on/2 months off
Minimum Hours Per Week 70 hours per week
Berthing: Shared
Travel: Company organizes and pays for travel

Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the care and maintenance of all Cosmetology
associated with Entertainment "shows". Duties to include (but not
limited to) styling, washing, and regular maintenance of all wigs and
keeping track of cosmetology supplies and, working with the Sr.
Costume Tech, making sure they are reordered when needed. This
also includes working closely with the Sr. Costume Tech and the
Character Manager to ensure that the integrity of the characters
is upheld at all times
* Responsible for working closely with the Sr. Costume Tech to assist
with costume responsibilities, including, (but not limited to) dressing
shows, laundry, general upkeep of the dressing and costume spaces,
and clearing at the end of the day in keeping with safety and show
requirements set forth by the ship's management
* Maintain show integrity and quality of cosmetology and costume
operations

Required/Desired: Experience, Qualifications, Education, Licenses
* Minimum two years salon experience or comparable training,
certification or industry related experience, including experience with
styling wigs
* Experience in a theatrical environment is desired
* Computer literacy required, minimally Excel, Word, and the use of email
* Familiarisation with hand sewing required
* Good communication skills, reading and writing skills
