What a fantastic show with 4 of the very strongest voices in the West End. Jodie Jacobs especially strong.

Very funny throughout. A MUST for all lovers of west end musicals.. You have to listen very carefully for all the jokes. Theres so much for those actors to remember.
A must see.

I'm going on Friday, I can't wait biggrin.gif

I love the clips on YouTube, especially the Les Mis parodies. Very clever, Garry's a legend. I love it more for the WWRY associations lol.

I was there last night (and so was Kerry Ellis!!!). It was awesome. Cameron Mackintosh's Fagin is inspired, and too many things that had me laughing so hard I can't remember them all. I think another trip is in order laugh.gif

The Les Mis parodies never get old!!! Made twice as hilarious tonight by a ) The Gareth Gates addition and b ) the fact that Jon Robyns was sitting behind me!! Win.

The cast were fabulous. Loved Laura Brydon, didn't know she was in it.

Looking forward to this, going on Thursday. How does it compare to Forbidden Broadway at the Menier? The two seem very similar in concept.

I prefer Jest End by a mile. It seems fresher, and I think just the fact that it's British humour makes it funnier.

Though the WWRY connection makes me slightly biased rolleyes.gif

So NOT funny, and certainly NOT original, when are these people ever going to learn that these shows just pander to the masses of westend wendies who should know better. This format has been done time and time again and is now not funny anymore. Some of you may remember the original UK production of this type of show, back in the 80's called Wicked Lips first produced at the Donmar Warehouse, that WAS funny and then it was original and even had legal writs thrown at it from certain producers to stop their shows being used! It's time for something NEW and ORIGINAL, come on we know you writers are out there!
