Stephenson left his final year of the Royal Academy of Music early to go straight into Hamilton on the West End, understudying the leading roles of Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. Stephenson made his debut performance in the title role within a month of being part of the cast.

He then joined the Globe Theatre tours, starring in As You Like ItA Midsummer’s Night’s Dream and The Tempest. He starred as Simba in The Lion King UK and Ireland tour and as the principal role of Daniel in Once On This Island at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

He’s also appeared in the world premiere of Starter For Ten and assisted with direction for Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch.

On screen, Stephenson featured in season two of Breeders for Sky, opposite Martin Freeman.

Additionally, he hosts the podcast Generation Vex produced by Green Door Pictures.
